Recoil? What recoil!

I just wanted to say that I read a lot about these light weight J-frames from S&W being "a lot to handle". Well, I don't know about most, but my experience so far has been just fine! Personally, I don't think they're any more of a kick than most other steel frames. I LOVE the light weight and would highly recommend one of these babies to anyone who wants a light weight revolver!

If you are looking for a .357 that you can fit in your pocket without your pants falling down, this is it. My only advice is to purchase pachmayr compac grips. This makes a big difference in felt recoil. The Tritium sight is great. I have put about 200 rounds thru it, half of them .357 and it has performed well at 25 yds. The right ammo is critical for this lightweight. I use Hornady Critical Defense, but Remington Golden Sabre and Corbon 110 grain self defense rounds are also good choices. Also, speed loaders won''t work so don''t bother buying one. Keep in mind this one is for self defense, not your range gun.

i have been carrying a five shot smith for over 30 years. as a cop and now as a retired professional pain in the butt. the gun has never failed me on or off duty. i would recommend to anyone who wants a reliable self defence weapon. i never leave home without it.
