This is the perfect balance of size and firepower. I carry a .45 on duty but wanted a weapon that I could easily carry when off duty but I didn''t want to compromise too much power. I purchased one of these for my wife years ago and wanted one every since. I can throw this thing in my front or back pocket and I forget it is there. And with a .357 going down range you know it is bad news on the other end. Great job S&W!!!

The service and shipping from TGS was great. They kept me up to date with emails concerning my order and the revolver arrived within 4 business days. As for the Smith & Wesson 340 revolver, I couldn''t be happier. This is the perfect revolver for concealed carry and personal protection and it fires the .357 Magnum cartridge, which will provide more than enough stopping power should I ever be caught in a defensive situation. 5 stars.

Smithandwesson.com shipped fast and was the best price I had found after doing numerous searches & investigations, I have no qualms with the seller. However, I got the handgun, and upon opening, the Crimson Trace laser grips were well out of adjustment. I've installed CT grips on Glocks with no issues and used/prefer them, however, no matter how much I tried, the laser won't adjust - new out of the box factory installed! Now I have to go through the hassle of getting with the seller/S&W or CT to get this corrected on a brand new out-of-the-box firearm that I was wanting to get into service immediately, but now can't. So maybe mine's a fluke, I'll let you all know how it turns out and who stands behind what!
