This is weapon that was assembled with extremely tight tolerances, and worked smooth as silk. Right out of the box I was able to empty a full 30 rnd clip in a 2.5" inch circle while standing up at 50 yards with aprox 3 seconds between each shot. This was after 6 rounds to learn where the sights would place the rounds. I just wish they would offer a 7.62 NATO version. If they do I will order one immediately. A+ grade for S&W.

Fantastic quality in this type of firearm. The rail and sight system alone justify the slightly higher price of this gun, when compared to others of this type. Tolerances are excellent, and right out of the box this baby put a 30 round group within 1.5 inches....open sights. Think I got my hands on a winner. Recommend you give this one a try and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Awesome Weapon... My first Semi-Auto.... Spent almost 6 months researching features, functionity and pricing. Picked the 15T for over all value and features...Gas with chrome lined barrel and rail system w/flip up sights... Basically I realized I didn''t want to buy a low end model and then pay to upgade with all the features I wanted or would eventually desire...So I paid a little more up front for all the goodies. Shoots very smooth and acurate via open sites... Ran a clip of 30 thru it and it dissipated the heat quickly.

I bought this rifle after not being able to add certain accessories to my Bushmaster which is a good gun but no where near the quality of this Smith and Wesson AR. You can''t go wrong with this. Plenty of room for mounting anything and everything. I put an Acog scope on it and shoots great at 100 yards and I am still working on the 300 yard range. I have had a colt in the past as well as being an ex Marine I had to have one but this one is much better and more versitile. Good shooting.

Thank you Smith & Wesson for offering the 5- 30 round Magpul magazines for purchaseing the M&P 15. I have the 15A model and have added an Eotech. I will soon add the 3x magnifyer: Eotech brand also.Hopefully a quad rail. This will be my predator rifle. I love that it has the chrome linned barrell. That was cool to learn after my purchase. ] I dont think Colt offers this[. I havent shot it yet but will eventually. It is a beautiful piece of machinery. I kept holding out for a Colt due to this being the militarys choice, but your reputation and price paralell Colt pretty well.Everything I read anywhere all glorifies the M&P. I do as well.

I just purchased my S&W M&P15. I was working on building a tactical .223 carbine and of course look at all the brands out there but when my dealer got the S&W in and I saw it (the very same day he got it in) I had to have it. S&W logos look cool, quality is second to none and looks to me like it should have cost a lot more money. I will purchase a 7.62 if and when it comes out. You will not be disappointed in this gun.

I bought this about six months ago and wow.... As a police officer, I normally pull this thing out of the car once a week, and i can tell you. S&W does not lie, this thing really is a beast. It doesn''t weigh much, and has all the features. I put on a aimpoint m4, and wow. This gun serously is awesome for a role in lawenforcment. It''s extreamly accuret, and doesnt over heat. I''ve already put about 2000 rounds through it now and I can say... When that bad day comes where I have to shoot a rifle in anger... I''ll make sure I have my M&P15, over my colt. This gun really delivers, and the price is cheeper then if you got a stock and added the parts on.

This MP 15X is second to none - The best! Out of the box- I emptied 5 30 round (soon to be banned) Mags in less than 1" grouping! Better than Bush or DPMS! Best value out there... Gotta get one quick before they become a banned "evil black gun" Don't blame me -I voted McCain!

I''ve owned an M&P]T[ for over 7 years and have shot many tactical rifles and enjoy knowing that I made a solid purchase. There is nothing more embarrasing than being on the range with your peers and having your rifle missfire. Everyone thinks their rifle is the best but I know mine will always shoot and in the hands of a marksman will get the job done. Fit & Finish is second to none. Thanks S&W.

This nice quality american made ar15 shot 2 group at 150'' with open sights right out of the box. Daughter first time shooting 3 group. Very pleased with this gun. Looked at a Huldra ]adams arms[ first and quality of s&w much nicer for close to the same price. Magpul clip adequate but doesn''t give that positive lock feel when loading.
