After breaking in the barrel The weapon is Outstanding holding VERY tight groups with 62 grain rounds ~ also my Wife can pin down anything at will with iron sights , I will tell you right out of the box IT is very hard too beat. TOP NOTCH ALL AMERICAN RIFLE SMITH & WESSON NAILED IT WITH THIS ONE

Excellent gun and fun to shoot. Very accurate right out of the box. Really like being able to shoot .223 or 5.56 ammo in this gun. The adjustable stock is great too.

Great firearm. I needed a base model to build on and at first was hesitant about s&w. After I received the rifle I gave it a twice over, and it is a very well built firearm. BEWARE OF TAPERED PINS IN FRONT SIGHT BLOCK IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON REMOVING....S&W IS ASS BACKWARDS AND GO OUT RIGHT TO LEFT. Overall it I would definitely recommend this firearm...it is well built and has great reviews from others as well. Would buy again. A+++

After a lot of research on the different AR brands, I decided on the M&P15 and haven''t regretted the decision. Outstanding craftsmanship by S&W and a pleasure to shoot, no issues! Highly Recommended!

My Father gave me this rifle NIB recently, bless his heart! This is my first experience with an AR-15 type rifle of any kind, owning or shooting. I''m 49 years old, have lots of experience with firearms overall and have my CC permit. But quite frankly, I had no idea of how to use this rifle like someone who actually knows what they''re doing. So I did my homework and I have since put about 300 rounds through the weapon. I am now in love with the AR platform, and though I have yet to shoot any other brand of AR-15, it was readily apparent that the quality on the M&P 15 is outstanding. Absolutely no issues at this point, and I don''t expect any. It''s solid, tight and the finish is awesome. I''ve spent days researching the M&P 15 and the only complaint I hear is no lifetime warranty. Hard to find any product that gets the kind of overwhelming positive reviews, from all kinds of people, that this rifle does. I''ve read some harumphs from the ''eliteist'' crowd and their $4000 AR-15''s, but they want a trophy wife and I want a field rifle that can cook the bacon. So if you''re a newb like me to the AR-15, I can highly recommend the S&W M&P 15 even if you have to pay for yours ha ha. Immediately user friendly and an absolute pleasure to shoot. Typical S&W quality and finish. Allready have a scope on the way...

This rifle very easy to shoot right out of the box. Daughter first time shooting nailed 3 group at 150'' with iron sights. Not happy with magpul clips, not a feeling of positive lock when inserting.

I was trained on the M 14 in the Corps so this is my 1st intro to the AR 15. I'm very impressed with the quality and the accuracy of this weapon. After 1200 plus rounds no FTFs. I believe I made the right choice with this purchase. Kudos to S&W

I AM VERY IMPRESS WITH MY FRIEND''S S/W M&P15.HE HAS LET ME TRY IT OUT AT THE GUN RANGE.THIS WOULD BRING BACK MEMORIES OF THE TEN YEARS I SERVED AS A SECURITY SPECIALIST FOR THE U.S.AIR FORCE.I CARRIED A M-16 ALOT.BUT THIS SURPRISED ME.A FINE RIFLE AND ONE I WOULDN''T MINE HAVING ONE IN MY COLLECTION. Now retired after 22 years in the Army, I've had the privilege to have fired and handle many different makers of the AR-15/M-4 rifles. This is the one I chose to buy. This is a very good AR rifle, with top notch quality. They known how an AR is to be built. I would have given it 5 stars if it would have came with a life time warranty. Some complain that it only has a 1/9 and not the 1/7 barrel. 90% of the ammo out there is under 62 grains, so that should be no big deal. However, the barrel is chrome lined. Now do you want a rifle made by a company like Smith & Wesson or a fly by night company that throws surplus parts together then stamps there name on it?
