These cleaning swabs are just fantastic. I''m a professional armorer, and these swabs allow you to get into some tough places other products typically miss. Example, my 25-year-old Ruger 10/22. Although I''ve replaced and accessorized numerous parts, it''s still a little fussy when it gets dirty. A quick swabbing with Hoppes in and around the chamber followed up by a dry swab or clean rag and I''m back in business for another 2-300 rounds. Works better than a bore snake, too.

For the longest time, I was a standard Q-tip user... Constantly having to then clean the left over cotton out of the gun with the frustration of bending the q-tip bending while being aggressive etc.. For years it frustrated me, until I saw this!!
Decided to throw caution to the wind and buy a few packs. Came quickly and I wasn''t expecting miracles when it came to cleaning time. I was wrong. These things are GREAT! The fiber is tighter than a standard q-tip, so there is a lot less (if any) fiber loss. The wooden stocks allow you to get aggressive and really scrub and get into tight spaces. The wooden end works fairly well as a "chisel" type tool when you have some buildup left over from the multiple other frustrating cleaning attempts.
Q-tips have now been put back in the bathroom, where they belong. These new swabs are now my main cleaning tool.. Couldn''t be happier with the product, the shipping or the price. Thanks freegunstuff.com!
