this revolver is one of the finest guns i've ever shot, and that's saying alot. you expect a crisp smooth trigger pull from a s&w but this time they have outdone themselves. it is possibly the perfect firearm, from the different options of ammo to performance and accuracy. i recomend this gun for the first time shooter to the seasoned veteran, this gun will not disappoint.

This particular Smith & Wesson happens to be the perfect handgun. Load it with Speer 38 specials and it's great for a home defense gun that is easily handled by women and those who are not regular shooters. Taken into the woods, you can load all kinds of heavy 357 loads that are good protection even for black bears at close range. Loaded with wad cutters it makes a great target revolver. For social work, eight roungs of 125 grain 357 makes it more formadable than most autos. It's totally dependable, won't jam, and rides well in an Uncle Mikes holster. A sweatshirt will conceal the shape. Good job S&W.

This is an excellent gun. Has many of the features of the 627 Performance Center model without the added price. Trigger was incredibly smooth right from the start. Accurate and well balanced for a 40+ oz gun. Got some 8 round moon clips on order. Can''t wait to try them out. 4 inch barrel is perfect for me. Swapped out the rubber open backstrap grips with a set of Pachmayr closed backstrap grips and now it fits my large hand perfectly. The FFL dealer to dealer transfer went off without a hitch.
