About a year and a half ago I went to pick up a glock 26 - only because of familiarity with it. The guy at my range asked I if I shot this yet. I said no so he sent me to a lane with this and the glock 26. 2 mags through each was enough and I walked back out with the M&P. The med grip fits my hand like this thing was made for me. It''s perfect. I couldn''t even tell you all the different kinds of ammo I put through it. I''ve tried everything with more of a focus on cheap ammo. Not 1 failure in about 2500 rounds. Simple break down for cleaning too. I put this on my belt with a galco yaqi holster and I can carry this with a t-shirt. I''m going to buy it''s full size big brother. Shot that and loved it too. This web site is the cheapest price you''ll find. My only regret is that I didn''t get mine from this site.

this was my first 9mm compact. i have had it for almost 2 years and found it to be very impressive.
easy to hold,and very comfortable to shoot. recoil not as much as i had expected. i have shot about 1000 rounds thru it and only 2 jams ]both times with black bear ammo[
it is a bit heavy to carry in the 110* temps, so i am thinking of getting a smaller, lighter gun, such as the kel-tec pf 9 for pocket carry.
i have had not one problem with the s&w mp compact 9,l can give it 5 stars with out hesitation.
the other guns i own now are two 22s and a ruger 44 mag.
