I''m an older man who has a concealed carry permit and some
pretty serious arthritis. When I got my 27, I was looking for a lighter weapon to carry, but the fact is, unlike my full frame 40 cals, this thing hurt to shoot. With my ported replacement 9mm barrel, the 27 is completely tamed. While I do lose some stopping power, I get several extra rounds. If you have the same problem I have, this is a less expense option than selling the 27 and buying a 26.
