Topglock, Thanks for the great service... The Storm Lake barrel arrived in just a few short days after the order was placed.. Upon inspection the Storm Lake barrel was a thing of beauty; great machining job, with few machine marks. The broach rifling was smooth with no flaws.. The barrel was a true drop in, and operated better than expected with very good accuracy, and was easy to clean after 150 rounds fired at my local range. After 30 years shooting Heavy Round ball Benchrest Muzzleloader barrels with Broach cut rifling I''m convinced the method of rifling Storm Lake uses (Broach cut) is the most accurate.. Topglock service was among the best I have ever encountered on the web, thanks for that... That being said, I cannot believe how precise and accurate the Storm Lake Barrel is. True drop-in with nice tight lockup, real lower case support, and unparalleled accuracy. Very tight groups from a rest all the way out to 25 yards. I was keeping all shots center torso on an IPSC target out to 50 yards in modified kneeling position on the first trip out. A little hit with the polishing compound on the feed ramp, a nice bit of lube, and take it to the range. No failures to feed, fire, or eject. Assorted fodder included a total of 1000 rounds assorted Win Ranger, Federal Ball, 165 gr reloads, and Winchester Ball. This barrel is a welcome upgrade to my well used service gun. Trust it, I stake my life on it.... And for topglock, I originally ordered the ported barrel. Upon changing my mind the day after, I emailed topglock, and received a very prompt reply. My order was changed, and sent out that day. Two days later I was at the range with the new barrel. Just can't beat that.

High quality product. Barrel dropped into place and locked up almost too tightly. Oiled the outside of the barrel and cycling improved greatly. The reason I purchased the Storm Lake barrel was to allow me to shoot reloads without excessive resizing of the brass. Spent cases from this barrel are still within SAMMI specs which should add to case life and make the reloads safer to shoot. This barrel shoots to the same point of impact as my factory Glock barrel--another plus. The only downside to the Storm Lake barrel is that it has given me 3 FTF so far. Since I am using this as a practice barrel only, I am not upset because I have been able to practice my jam-clearing routine. I would not be surprised if these malfunctions clear up after an appropriate break-in period. So far, I have only put about 200 rounds through this barrel. This product performed just as it was advertised. It worked just as I expected and I would reccomend it to my friends.
