Awesome gun! Love it! Perfect for women or men, but definately ideal for a woman who is not sure what kind of gun to get. One of the best guns I''ve ever owned!

I have the S&W Bodyguard, a S&W 357 and a 9mm Taurus. My Bodyguard is just that....it is always with me. I have recommended this gun to many of my friends, it''s a perfect size, weight and has enough punch to take care of business. I don''t use the laser when I''m at the range but it''s nice to know it''s there if I need it. I am 5''4'''' with relatively small hands and this gun fits perfectly in them. It is well balanced, doesn''t feel awkward when firing even though its short with a bit of power. I also make sure to use the same ammo at the range as I would for protection...this keeps the feeling the same no matter what the circumstances and accuracy is more likely to be maintained. There are no sharp edges or things that get get caught up on fabrics.
I noticed someone commented on the site being black and having a hard time visualizing the target with the black site....a tip I learned is to mark the site with a dab of whiteout or nail polish. It has worked out really well for me.

SOME SAY THAT S/W WENT OUT OF THE BOX WITH THIS PISTOL AND I BELIVE IT.FOR
GOOD REASONS.I WAS AT A RANGE ONE DAY WHEN I NOTICE A COUPLE FIRING THE GUN.I WAS ABLE TO GET HONEST IMPUT AND THAT WIFE''S GUN WAS A WINNER.WHEN I
GOT TO SHOOT IT I AGREED.I GOT MINE A MONTH LATER AND AFTER 300 ROUNDS
LATER I AM GETTING USE TO IT WELL.THE LAZER IS A GOOD EXTRA THAT I LIKE
ALTHOUGH I DON''T KNOW I WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE LAZER IN A SHOOTOUT BUT I
WILL TAKE ANY HELP I CAN.GREAT FOR A BACKUP TO MY XD FULL IN 45ACP.GOOD JOB
S/W. OH,THAT COUPLE SHOULD BE ON S/W PAYROLL.FOUR OTHERS BOUGHT 38BODYGUARDS AS WELL.
